Local law enforcement head stated that the explosives were pending forensic examination when a "deeply regrettable" incident during handling resulted in their detonation at approximately 11:20 PM local.

Security forces verified that this was an "inadvertent blast" and as opposed to a terror incident. "Any other speculation regarding the reason of this occurrence is unnecessary," highlighted the security director during a media conference.

Several automobiles were "consumed by fire and transformed into ashen remains, with wreckage spread across the site," according to authority statements.
"The intensity of the explosion was so powerful that some human remains were retrieved from nearby houses, approximately 100-200 meters distant the security post," mentioned an official source.
The majority of the fatalities were law enforcement personnel, along with scientific examination staff, two investigative imaging experts, and a garment worker who was present with the personnel.
