An individual of Australian nationality who jumped across a fence and grabbed actress Ariana Grande has been sent away and barred from Singapore.

The individual, twenty-six, was handed a penalty to more than a week in jail for being a public nuisance and has now been "barred from re-entering Singapore," Singaporean immigration authorities told Singaporean press.

He forced his way through camera crews and charged at the performer and artist, who was attending the Asian debut for the musical adaptation on November 13. Co-performer Cynthia Erivo wrestled him away from Grande.

The individual has a record of disrupting concerts and celebrity events, including leaping onto the platform at a Katy Perry performance in Sydney in this summer.
