Energy Recovery Efforts in Kyiv
Work carried on on the weekend to repair energy infrastructure in Kyiv, after assaults.
Power had been recovered to more than 800,000 residents by Saturday and the largest utility provider said the primary operations to repair the grid was complete though certain disruptions continued.
Air Defence Efforts and Drone Jamming
The Ukrainian air defences neutralized 54 out of seventy-eight Russian drones deployed targeting the country during the night, the military reported on Saturday.
The Russian military authorities stated it eliminated forty-two Ukrainian drones over the country's airspace.
Cuban Government Rejects Allegations of Sending Troops to Ukraine
Cuba on the weekend rejected American assertions it has sent soldiers to engage in the Ukraine war, while stating officials in Havana "lack precise data about Cuban nationals" involved "voluntarily" or "within the troops of the conflicting parties".
